Garage Door Services
Nine services covering everything that actually fails on a residential garage door — the hardware, the opener, and the door itself.
Every garage door service we offer in Tampa
A garage door is three systems that happen to be bolted together, and they fail in completely different ways. The hardware — springs, cables, rollers, track — carries the weight and wears out from cycles. The opener is an electromechanical appliance with its own separate lifespan. The door itself is a shell that outlasts both by decades unless something hits it.
Understanding which of those three you are dealing with is most of what determines whether a quote is fair. A broken spring is a hardware problem and says nothing about your door. A dead opener says nothing about either. We have organised our services along those lines.

Hardware repairs
Spring repair is the most common call we take and the repair you should never attempt yourself. Cables and drums are the second wear point, and they corrode early near salt water. And off-track doors are usually the visible consequence of one of the first two failing.
Opener work
Opener repair is usually cheaper than replacement and we lead with it — a gear kit is a fraction of a new unit. When replacement is the right answer, new opener installation gets sized to your actual door weight rather than a horsepower guess. And sensors and remotes covers the cheapest category of all, including the faults you can often fix yourself for nothing.
The door itself
Panel replacement handles one damaged section without replacing the whole door, which is the option most often left out of a quote. New door installation covers wind-rated replacements meeting current Florida code. And emergency repair exists because doors fail at inconvenient hours with cars behind them.
What every service includes
A free diagnosis with a full balance and safety test, a flat written price before anything starts, parts for the six common faults carried on the truck, the old parts left on site if you want to see them, and one year on parts and labour. None of that is conditional on job size — a $95 sensor call gets the same treatment as a $3,400 door.
Where we do this work
All nine services across our full service area at identical pricing — Tampa plus Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel and the rest of Hillsborough County and south Pasco. No trip charge anywhere on the list.

Service FAQs
Almost certainly spring repair. If the motor runs but the door does not move, the springs are the likely cause because they carry the weight rather than the opener. Look for a two-inch gap in the coil on the shaft above the door.
No. The diagnosis, balance test and safety check are free during standard hours, and you get a flat written price before anything starts. After-hours emergency visits carry a surcharge which we quote before dispatching.
Almost always, and it is cheaper because the trip and setup are shared. The most common combination is springs plus cables, since a spring failure shock-loads the cables. We quote each item separately so you can pick the scope.
Residential is our focus, but we handle small commercial roll-ups, apartment and condo garages and multi-bay properties. Large industrial doors and high-cycle commercial systems are a different specialism and we will say so rather than take the job.
Pull the red release cord with the door closed and lift by hand. If the door is heavy or unbalanced, the problem is the door hardware and the opener is a victim. If the door moves easily by hand, the fault is in the opener.
Springs in common wire sizes, cables, rollers, hinges, sensors and gear kits plus common logic boards for the brands we see most. That covers the six faults that make up the majority of calls, so most repairs finish on the first visit.
Usually same day for springs, cables, off-track doors and opener faults. Panel replacements and new doors need ordering, so allow one to three weeks for the part with a single appointment to fit it.
We do, though we will tell you honestly that inland you can do most of it yourself — our maintenance guide covers it. On coastal addresses in Apollo Beach or South Tampa an annual service genuinely pays for itself because of salt corrosion.
One year on parts and labour across every service, plus any manufacturer warranty on openers and doors which we register for you. Springs carry their cycle rating. If something we fitted fails inside the year we return at no charge.

Which one do you need?
Describe the noise and what the door is doing. We can usually name the part over the phone, and the diagnosis is free either way.
